Cocoon Fires – Vellum Wall-Mounted Bioethanol Fireplace in Matte Black
The Cocoon Vellum in matte black is an elegant wall-mounted bioethanol fireplace designed by acclaimed industrial designer Federico Otero. Combining sculptural aesthetics with practical functionality, this fireplace serves as both a piece of art and a source of warmth. Its round shape and open front create a beautiful, ambient flame view that enhances any interior space.
Crafted from carbon and stainless steel with a heat-resistant powder-coated matte black finish, the Vellum is both durable and visually striking. It requires no electricity, chimney, or ventilation, making it easy to install directly onto the wall. Ideal for both residential and commercial spaces, the fireplace offers a clean, stylish alternative to traditional heating options.
Burner and heat output
The fireplace is equipped with Cocoon Fires’ 1.5-liter manual burner (Cocoon 2.0 Burner System), delivering up to 5 hours of burn time per fill. The flame is manually adjustable to control intensity, with a maximum heat output of 3 kW – suitable for rooms of at least 45 m³. Average fuel consumption is approximately 0.3 liters of bioethanol per hour.
