Piquia garden fireplace made of corten steel
A beautiful and unique garden fireplace that creates a cosy atmosphere in the garden and is suitable for a garden party, for example. The Piquia garden fireplace rusts over time and thus gets its beautiful corten colour. You can place some firewood under the fireplace, which makes it easier to use, but also gives it a very authentic look.
Piquia is produced from corten steel, which is intended to create a weather-resistant product. Thus, this garden fireplace has a long life unlike ordinary steel, which wears out over time. In fact, corten steel lasts about 10 times longer than regular steel.
Faster rusting
You can use a salt or acid solution to speed up the rusting process so that it spreads more evenly. You can simply use table salt or vinegar. Mix this with water and put it in a plant spray and spray the mixture on the cooker.
