Sponge Pill for Dimplex Cassette 500 and 1000
Smart little "pill" to use with hybrid fireplaces that have a fixed water connection.
Its function is that when in contact with water it expands, thus closing the water connection and ensuring that the Cassette does not become flooded. The Sponge Pill is disposable and must be replaced if it is triggered.
The Sponge Pill is easily changed by removing the orange nozzle and then the water vessel can be lifted. The Sponge Pill should be installed where the water supply enters the hybrid fireplace.
